HAWAIIAN HUMANE SOCIETY VOLUNTEER WORKOrganized in 1883, the Hawaiian Humane Society was put into place to educate, spread awareness about proper care for animals, and enforce animal cruelty laws. This organization is a place for animal lovers who are willing to strengthen the bond between humans and animals through rescuing abused animals, advocating for better laws revolving around the care for animals, and with the engagement of volunteers. They are currently wanting volunteers to help foster pets from the shetler and prepare them for adaptation, as well as on-campus jobs like shelter cleaning and laundry help.
