NATIONAL TROPICAL BOTANICAL GARDEN VOLUNTEER WORKThe National Tropical Botanical Garden aims to preserve native plants from facing extinction. This organization also focuses on habitat restoration, research, and education about plant species. Maintaining multiple major botanical gardens in Hawaii and one in Florida, this organization prevents species from going extinct. It provides people a platform where they are able to actively help the ʻĀina and give back to it through species conservation. They can always use an extra hand, so if you volunteer with them, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of positions based on your skills, ranging from greeting visitors in the gardens to maintaining the plants.
